Do You Play

with your kids?

We do.

When the other has to work, the other parent plays with Tamsin and her farm-set.  My daughter is lucky to have a dad who likes to keep things, especially things that have sentimental value.  This farm-set was actually made by his dad and the blue tractor is I guess, even older than him.

Let me introduce you to my daughter’s farm.

This is Roger, the farmer.

And the farmer’s wife, Rachel.

Nelly, a farm-hand feeding the chickens.

Of course, a farm won’t be complete without sheeps and lambs.  The man is Joseph (the farmer’s brother) and Edith his wife.

The pond where the ducks like to hang out.

The pigs and the cows and the other farm-hands …  In Tamsin’s farm, it’s all work and no play.

The goats – having a sip of water.

Complete with a horse-box for the horses.

All in a days work at Tamsin’s farm.

Tomorrow, I shall introduce you to a Victorian horse called Dobbin.

And yes,

we spend hours playing with this farm-set.
