V is for Valency Valley

I’ve probably said this a dozen times, we are lucky to live in a beautiful place where we have both the sea and a little patch of forest in our little village.

This is the Valency Valley, where little T’s cat – Bootsy once had an adventure and got lost and found in the woods.

If the photos look a bit familiar, yes, these were taken during that particular incident with our cat.

If you were given a choice, would you like to live by the sea, or by a woodland?

It is beautiful. Lovely childhood memories being made too. I’m sure she will look back fondly about spending time there, and the horror of losing her cat will just be a footnote. #AlphabetPhoto

  2. Always the sea!! But I’ve found the woodland is never too far from the sea so perhaps if you choose sea you get both?

    • Same here. But like I said, we have both, though the woodland is a bit of a walk from our house 😉

    • Yes, I guess it is. We constantly remind ourselves not to take this place for granted.

You guys are the luckiest. Everywhere I turn over here, it’s a concrete jungle!

What a beautiful place to have on your doorstep. Choosing between the sea and woodland is a hard one but I think it would have to be woodland for me.

    • Good choice! The woodland is a bit of a walk from our house, but so worth it 😉

That’s a hard choice! I love woodlands but the sea reminds me so much of my Granny and Papa I’d probably go that way #alphabetphoto

    • At the moment, since we live so close to the sea and the woodlands while not that far from our house, is a bit of a trek – I think it would be nice to live so close to it 🙂

Beautiful photos! Your area looks really nice. I love the woods and the ocean – that’s a tough choice. I live near the Great Lakes in Ontario, Canada and they are quite beautiful and often a favourite place to visit. My community is also surrounded by beautiful woodlands and one of my family’s favourite things to do is hike. I think I’d have to go with the woods if I were forced to choose! You’re very lucky to have both! #alphabetphoto

    • I’ve never been to Canada but I know it’s a beautiful country! And I can imagine how lovely it is to live by the Great Lakes in Ontario 🙂
