The weather has been so bad here in the UK the past weeks. Where we live, we are lucky not to be affected with flooding, I feel a bit guilty about saying this though, especially when we watch the news and see how others are affected by it. I just hope that this bad weather will end soon! At the moment, little T and I have the most terrible cold and our noses are clogged. With the awful weather and terrible cold, it’s difficult to have any fun outside. So for this week’s #CountryKids post, it’s going to be an indoor fun activity – swim class!
Little T and F have been going to swim class together. For those who are not familiar with F, he is my daughter’s best-friend-in-the-world and in my daughter’s words – forever!
There they are… as always – holding hands.
She’s always loved the water, especially the sea, even when she was a baby/toddler and liked the pool too. But her first day in swim-class was a bit of a challenge. My husband said she cried the WHOLE time and refused to go the next lesson. F on the other hand, used to go to a different swim class, but thankfully his parents decided to transfer him to little T’s class, not really knowing that they were enrolling him in the same class little T was in – a happy coincidence! And of course, this made a huge difference. T would now look forward to her swim lessons and has since then, never whinged or cried ever again. As you can see from the photos, now she can swim with confidence (though with arm-bands).
She went home one day and proudly held up her assessment form to me to see:
Sorry if the paper is crumpled. My husband must have stuffed it in her bag.
Does your little ones go to swim class?
Do they love it too?

Have a lovely and hopefully dry weekend everyone!
