Jumping Up & Down in Muddy Puddles

It was a cold-greyish Autumn afternoon, little T turns to her little puppy and says “Would you like to go for a walk Doc?”  Woof, woof!  (Oh yes please!).  T looks out the window and notices the grey sky, “We better hurry, before it rains!” Woof, woof!  (Let’s go!) says Doc and out the door they went.

T sees something ahead of them that made her really excited.  “Quick, Doc!  I can see muddy puddles!  I love muddy puddles!”  Doc mutters, woof, woof, woof!  (I don’t think that’s a very good idea).

“C’mon Doc!  Don’t be such a spoil-sport!”  Woof!  (Help!)

“This is going to be fun!  Trust me!”  T says tugging on Doc’s leash.  Doc whimpers (I don’t really want to do this).

“Fine!  Sit there then and watch me have fun!”

“Weee!  Puddles!”

“This is fun!”

“I love jumping up and down in muddy puddles!”

“You are missing out on all the fun in the world!”

Woof!  Woof!  Woof! (Where are you going?  Wait for me!)

“I’m off to find more muddy puddles!”

“You can’t catch me!”

And little T ran ran as fast she could jumping in all the muddy puddles making her jeans, socks and wells even more muddier.  As for little Doc, he ran as fast as he could behind her all the way home.

What a beautiful picture Little T and Doc make – the best of friends. I love the photos of the fun Little T’s having while Doc looks on, this is what wellies are made for! Thanks for linking up and sharing their outdoor fun with Country Kids.

    • Thanks! Yes and I have to re-wash her socks since the washing machine didn’t manage to get the mud stains off.

  2. I have this feeling there will be more T and doc stories to come. This was so CUTE. I love that you allow her to get dirty, to have such fun and record it all on film. So great.

    • I certainly don’t have any problems with her getting dirty… I do however have problems with getting the dirt off her socks! But definitely worth it 🙂

  3. Lovely! I have a wee girl who is obsessed with Peppa Pig and muddy puddles. Every night when we leave nursery I stand around in the car park while she jumps through all the puddles. I love how she gets so much pleasure out of something so simple.

    • Same with my daughter – she also loves Peppa Pig, hence the “I love jumping up and down in muddy puddles!” Struggling a bit though with the mud stains in her socks… But like I said, the smile on her face and giggles is so much worth it. Thanks for dropping by 🙂
