Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? We have! In fact, we are actually done with our list save for a few stocking fillers. This is the first time this has ever happened, normally we wait till it’s actually December before we start ticking our list off. But then my husband and I just got into it and did everything online. Oh the joys of online shopping! Now if only he’d get into the Christmas mood too and start getting our Christmas decors out from the attic. If I weren’t hobbling, I’d go up there myself in spite protests from him saying “It’s TOO bloody early for that!” I do want my foot to heal soon, so I’m not doing anything crazy like climbing up the ladder just to get to the attic… at least, not yet.
Speaking of the husband, I’m wondering now if he’s bought his Christmas present for ME yet. I’ve emailed him my Christmas wish-list, surely he has? You think?
In case he hasn’t though, I’m dedicating this post to him and all the other husbands out there, or boyfriends or partners. Just think of this post as a big-help to nudge you men to the right direction. I know how totally clueless you guys are sometimes. I don’t want to hear a dialogue like “What do you mean you don’t want tickets to a Test Match at Lords for our Anniversary?! All women want that?! Believe me, we don’t!
Here’s a little tip. Women love jewellery, just like we also love bags, shoes and books. But let’s focus on the bling first, because as much as we love books, during special occasions like Christmas birthdays and anniversaries, it’s nice to feel extra special and jewellery will do just that, especially unique handmade ones that won’t be found anywhere else in the world.
Remember F, little T’s best friend? His lovely mum happens to make the most intricately designed necklaces, bracelets, earrings, rings and they are all handmade. Her online shop is called Camali Design. Here are a few examples of her lovely designs:
Show your wife how special she is by gifting her with this beautiful Labrodorite ring in sterling silver and cubic zirconia. I think that ring will look perfect on my finger! Hint, hint, hint. Click here for more information about it.
If your loved one prefers necklaces, this one-of-a-kind intricate Cow Parsley Large Silver disc pendant design, will make her feel truly special. And if you’re ready to purchase that beautiful necklace, click here.
And lastly, this is one of my favourites from her collection – These simple but lovely earrings made from beach pebbles. What makes them so special? Those pebbles are from the beaches in Cornwall. So if you want to take home a piece of Cornwall, this would definitely make the best present ever. Click here to buy. There are of course lovelier and dressier earrings than this one. you can click here to see for yourself.
She also does commissioned pieces, so if you have a particular design in mind, just contact her and she’ll do it exactly as you want it.
You can also find her at notonthehighstreet.com. And if you love craft fairs, do visit her stall at Truro in December. See poster below for more information.
Remember, if it’s made in Cornwall, it’s truly special.
