My Top 5 Beach Wear Must-Haves

We’ve been having really lovely warm weather since last Sunday, it almost feels like we’re on holiday in a warm country.  Sadly, today is a different story.  To think that it’s actually little T’s last day in school.  Temperature has dropped again, the sun has disappeared and instead we are enveloped in a thick mist, at least it is dry … for now.

But that won’t dampen my spirits, the British summer is here and I’m trying to be optimistic that the lovely warm weather will be back. And since we’ve had a taste of the lovely hot days, I’m sharing with you guys my Summer Wish List.

 Top 5 Beach Wear Must-Haves

  1. Seafolly Riviera Stripe Soft Cup Halter Swimsuit Was £100 now £70.
  2. Rayban Female Brown Square sunglasses £152.00
  3. Rose Gold Havaianas flip-flops £24.00
  4. Batela Anchor Printed Beachbag £29.00
  5. Dickins & Jones Crochet Hem cover-up was £40 now £28.00.

All items can be purchased at House of Fraser.

Now of course the reality is I wouldn’t spend that much for a swimsuit, but hey, one can always dream right?  But might reconsider the price if it’s a swimsuit that has magic, and that every time I wear it, my body would look as slim as the woman in the photo, then I’m sold!

What about you?

What are your beach wear must-haves?

Do share.

  1. oooh gold flip flops! I haven’t worn flip flops since I was a kid, toe issues, but I love the gold ones. I love the cover up too, I’d definitely need one of those, I’ve lots of sins to cover 😉

Oh I love that swimsuit!!! Still hot and sunny here and I definitely need to sort a new swimming thing (costume/tankiki) out! 9 months on, I’m still wearing my pregnancy swimming costume! I have to buy mine from bravissimo so I can get my giants boobs in!! They are very pricey!! Great post x

    • Thank you. It took me awhile to stop wearing my maternity clothes because they were so comfy! 😉

  3. Great list I love the cover up and i need to buy myself some Sun glasses.

    • Same here and I love that it’s huge! Us mums need gigantic bags, don’t we? 😉

    • Thanks. Love them all… Now if only I had the money to splurge, I’d buy them all 😉

I really love flip flops and beach bags. Can’t beat a good pair of flip flops for the beach. The flips flops from house of Fraser look really nice as well.

    • I do love wearing them too. Now if only the warm and hot sunshiny days would come back!

    • I’ve bought a few, but have sort of given up on swimming costumes 😉 My old one will do, not that I ever wear it a lot either 🙂

  6. Laura - dear bear and beany

I love flip flops and where them until it really is too cold and time to put them away until next summer. These are gorgeous and I don’t have a rose gold pair, I might have to pop over and take a look x

Sunglasses are a must for me. Love your bikini choice too.

  8. I love the gold flips flops -the perfect way to style it out on a beach!

    • Me too. Love that it’s so big and will fit all my daughter’s extra stuff in it 🙂

    • And to cover up the bits, you wouldn’t want to show… At least for me 😉

  9. Totally agree. I’m off to the beach tomorrow hopefully so will be taking all of those with me. Great choices x

  10. Tam Gamble

Flip Flops are my one vice in the summer. We are currently living in Italy for the next few months and therefore the only thing that ever gets put on my feet are flip flops and at the moment I have a thing for Ipanema.

    • Ooh Italy, I’m envious! My last flip-flops were Ipanema too 🙂 But the dog ate it 🙁
